PartyWall help

PartyWall connects the iPhone app to PartyWall TV on Apple TV. No PartyWall account is required. Start an event on the TV, scan the administrator invitation first, then let guests join with the guest invitation.

01

Connect and upload

  • Update both apps to the same current version and generate a fresh invitation. Keep PartyWall open on Apple TV with the event running.
  • Allow local network access for LAN discovery. Both devices need internet access for connections over the internet or through the encrypted relay.
  • After a network interruption, reconnect to the same event. Pending photos remain in the iPhone upload queue until the TV confirms completion, you cancel, or the host reports a final error.
  • Only approved photos appear on the wall. Ask the event administrator to review pending photos.
02

TV full version and restoring a purchase

  • The iPhone app is free. The optional TV full version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The current price is shown before purchase.
  • Use Restore Purchases on Apple TV with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Without a confirmed purchase, normal event features remain available with a watermark.
  • The full version removes the TV watermark and enables the user-initiated export of approved photos from an ended event to a new Photos album. Allow Photos access when asked.
03

Delete an event or get help

  • The TV host can delete a specific ended event from history after two confirmations. Its CloudKit deletion is retried when the Apple Account is available; a minimal deletion marker is retained.
  • Exported Photos albums and originals on participant devices must be deleted separately. Removing a saved participation on iPhone does not delete photos already uploaded to the TV.
  • For support, use the email link below and include the app, device, operating system and last visible status. Do not send private photos, QR invitations, passwords, tokens or keys.
